About Training

Hair Extension Training Ireland is proud to be the pioneering training academy of its kind in Ireland. Our training process consists of two essential parts: theory training, which you can complete at your own pace online, and practical, in-person training.

- The recommended minimum time to complete the theory training is 3 hours, and you have up to 6 months to fully complete, practice, and submit your work. We strongly advise completing your theory training before attending the practical in-person session.

- Your practical training will be scheduled on a date and at a location of your choice when you make your booking.

Assessment:
You will undergo assessment through online assignments and multiple-choice quizzes, with a pass mark of 80%. Additionally, practical in-person training assessment is part of the evaluation process.

In case you don't pass, you'll have the opportunity to redo each stage. During your practical, in-person training, ongoing assessments will be conducted throughout the day.

Deposits, Refunds and Transfers:
To secure your training, you have the option to pay a non-refundable deposit of €99 or the full cost of your training up front. If you choose the pay a deposit then the remaining course fee is due on the day of your in-person training.

Please note that deposits and training fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

This policy is in place to ensure your place is secured and to prevent unfilled class slots, which can significantly affect our operations. Our online theory training offers instant access so refunds are not possible.

Our commitment to delivering high-quality training necessitates keeping class sizes small for a more personalised experience. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure your availability on the booked date to avoid losing your class fee or deposit and to support the quality of our training programs.

In very exceptional circumstances, course date amendments may be possible. Please request this via email at least 14 days before the course date, although we cannot guarantee changes.

This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and a resolution will be at the company's discretion. Cancellations outside of this 14-day window will be fully chargeable.

If you fail to attend the course on the day, you will not be refunded or credited.

If a course is sold out, we cannot accept any alteration requests.

Course Access and Completion:
Our online training courses offer a 6-month access time limit, so please read the course description carefully before purchasing.

Once your access expires, you will no longer be granted access, and additional charges may apply if you wish to regain access. Course work must be submitted for marking before your course access expires. Work submitted outside of this timeframe may not be marked, and further charges may apply.

Special Requirements:
If you have any special requirements, please notify us via email at least 14 days before the course date, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Course Changes and Cancellations:
Hair Extension Training Ireland reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses in exceptional circumstances and will notify students as early as possible.

If a venue alteration is required, we will strive to select a new location close to the previous one. If you cannot attend at the new location or on the new date, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving the notification.

We will provide a credit note valid for 12 months from the date issued. You will not be refunded for courses still taking place in alternative venues or on alternative dates. In the rare case of a course's complete cancellation, all students will receive a full refund.

Disruptive Behaviour:

Hair Extension Training Ireland reserves the right to refuse access to location courses or request students to leave a course venue in the case of aggressive, abusive, or discriminatory behavior towards our team, trainers, or other students on the course. If this occurs before the course date, you will be notified in advance. If you are asked to leave when the course has begun, you will not be refunded or offered an alternative course. Ensuring everybody's safety, comfort, and dignity is our top priority, and we have a strict no-tolerance policy regarding disrespectful or discriminatory behaviour, including any racist or exclusionary language.

Refunds:
All courses are non-refundable. Please ensure, before booking a place, that you are confident in your decision and able to attend the course at the venue and date stated.

Liability:
We advise all students to discuss course suitability with the tutor before booking and attending a course. The final decision on whether a course is suitable remains with the customer, and Hair Extension Training Ireland will not be liable for dissatisfaction resulting from this decision. Hair Extension Training Ireland accepts no liability for loss or damages to students, equipment, or their clients in the future. Claims will be attributed to the misuse of products or professional training provided during the course.
